Dignity International was present together with a 1,300 strong crowd in Jakarta, Indonesia for the ASEAN Civil Society Conference/ASEAN People’s Forum 2011 (ACSC/APF). The ACSC/APF is held to secure and strengthen critical engagement of civil society with the Association of South-east Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Themed “Claiming a People-centred ASEAN for a Just Global Community”, the ASEAN civil society calls for ASEAN to include civil society into policy-making processes and put people at the centre of ASEAN development.
