Friends from Four Regions Slum Network (FRSN) in Thailand affected by the Bangkok floods PDF Print E-mail

Jeff from FRSN shares the following situation in Bangkok:

The latest information is that 16 FRSN member communities in Bangkok and surrounding areas, consisting of approximately 3,000 people, have been affected by the flooding.

FRSN is continuing to operate a relief coordination center that is acquiring relief supplies from various sources and distributing them to these 16 communities in need. Several of these 16 communities are now no longer accessible by car or truck, so FRSN has been making boats for the last several days to enable the delivery of relief supplies. Some of these boats have also been handed over to the affected communities so that the people can have better mobility.

The photos attached to this article shows the condition in some of our flooded member communities, as well as FRSN's efforts to provide relief assistance to them.
