| Human Rights Day – India: People power in 50 districts covering 6 states |

On International Human Rights Day (10th December 2011), Ekta Parishad organized district level demonstration (like rallies, sit-ins, public meetings, etc) in 50 districts covering 6 states (Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa and Rajasthan).
In district level demonstrations, the people gave memorandum to concerned government officials. Media has also published news about the demonstration. In following Newspapers (Nai Dunia, Patrika, Jagran and Dainik Bhasker) media wrote that:
“Ekta Parishad has organized one day demonstration on International Human Rights day. In this demonstrations poor people raised their voices for “COMPRIHENSIVE LAND POLICY AND ACT” for all over the country.
They also discussed about Jan Samvad Yatra and Jansatyagraha 2012.
