Dignity International just wrapped up our 10th Annual Global Linking and Learning Programme on Human Rights Based Development in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
We had a total of 26 participants from 18 countries across the globe - Argentina, Cambodia, Cameroon, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Estonia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Uganda, and Zambia.

Participants braved through 9 days of intensive training modules, engaged in meaningful discussions and critical yet constructive debates, and shared about the struggles in their countries while learning about each others' work with the communities back home.
Besides the indoor sessions, participants were also introduced to a brief history and culture of Yogyakarta through field trips and community visits.

Some of the communities visited were Srunen Village (disaster zone, located close to the peak of Merapi Volcano), Sempu Village (agriculture/farming), and Plered Village (single women headed households).
